In the past i used to make a 50/50 mix of blood red & terracotta to get what actually looked like a blood colored red. But terracotta got discontinued (naturally, GW just LOVES discontinuing colors that i have whole armies painted in), so I wiped out the FLGS's supply of Terracotta & have been hording it rather than mixing.Da Masta Cheefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05941441877537371502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607148523152146537.post-31845972526835872052010-06-18T00:26:53.545-04:002010-06-18T00:26:53.545-04:00I like mechrite red as well for it's coverage ...I like mechrite red as well for it's coverage ability...but it has an off red color I don't care for. I have found tho that if you mix 1/2 mechrite and 1/2 blood red in an empty paint pot, you do come up with something that looks more, well, red....and still get the coverage you would with just straight mechrite.

MurlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607148523152146537.post-34795586477113125852010-06-17T23:51:17.415-04:002010-06-17T23:51:17.415-04:00you could have used Mechrite red as your base, it ...you could have used Mechrite red as your base, it covers anything, including regal blue, snot green, all the obnoxious colors. :PJon (Alphalas)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01315821759666117159noreply@blogger.com
