However, they are very unforgiving also. I painted a squad of these for my brother's Ultramarine army (vets, with the white helms and trim) and they came out very well, perhaps the best looking models I had painted for that army.nevernesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07722163860443469429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607148523152146537.post-35456338118617536142012-03-01T12:08:17.774-05:002012-03-01T12:08:17.774-05:00@Papa: Thanks man & I look forward to seeing y...@Papa: Thanks man & I look forward to seeing your incarnation of this!

@Madival: Despite the incessant complaints of GW 'forcing us to buy more minis' there is all to often a lot of whining & bitching when one asks to play a smaller game. Lately for example 1500 points has become the norm @ my house. Yet at anything below 1850 the apparently requisite 'deathstar' in every army list results in too many compromises in the army's construction because they're point sucking monstrosities. So needless to say, the limit of a mere of 600 points much less the other restrictions of combat patrol mean most will simply balk at the prospect. To be honest I long ago just gave up on making the suggestion.Da Masta Cheefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05941441877537371502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607148523152146537.post-46537987292065354592012-03-01T11:27:41.379-05:002012-03-01T11:27:41.379-05:00I want to do combat patrol. never hear the idea be...I want to do combat patrol. never hear the idea be brought up that much.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607148523152146537.post-84479194548772994682012-03-01T10:54:04.346-05:002012-03-01T10:54:04.346-05:00I've been planning on doing something similar ...I've been planning on doing something similar with all of the AoBR marines I've accumulated over the years. It just seems like it will be so helpful to have a usable army to lend out and not have any worries really about what happens to the minis. I hadn't worked out an army list that I liked however and very much admire the one you've worked out. Don't be surprised if you see a clone of this show up on my blog sometime in the future. :) Thanks!Papa JJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07443485240104662387noreply@blogger.com
